Hello,

I’m Mauricio Matos, a travel photographer living in Portugal.

As a travel photographer, most of my work has been done abroad, in many different countries around the world. It’s my passion, it’s the kind of pictures I like to shoot. I’ve been doing it for over 20 years now and I plan to keep doing it for a few more 🙂

Nevertheless, I was looking for something new. Something that could take me back to places I have visited plenty of times before here in Portugal but also to some of my favourite spots around the world, and allow me to capture them in a whole new way.

So why not a new point of view? Why not aerial photography? The huge development in drone technology the past few years makes it now possible to shoot from the air at a fraction of the cost.

So I’ll be taking a couple of drones to some of the most beautiful places in Portugal and around the world, and I’ll try a fresh approach on them.
